The Killochries story will probably reflect that of many other breeders of Highland Cattle. What started out of interest and a vague curiosity quite quickly turned into a passion as these wonderful animals captured our hearts and worked their magic.

The Killochries Fold of Scottish Highland Cattle came into being when in 1995 and is now in its twelfth year, includes a specialist Black Fold of Highland Cattle and has gained a reputation of breeding only high quality Highland Cows, Calves and Bulls.

Now our Highland Herd is well in excess of two hundred head and while the female foundation cattle were carefully selected and monitored the herd has benefited most from using some of the best bulls available.
