Killochries Fold

The Killochries story will probably reflect that of many other breeders of Highland Cattle. What started out of interest and a vague curiosity quite quickly turned into a passion as these wonderful animals captured our hearts and worked their magic.
The Killochries Fold of Scottish Highland Cattle came into being when in 1995 and is now in its twelfth year, includes a specialist Black Fold of Highland Cattle and has gained a reputation of breeding only high quality Highland Cows, Calves and Bulls.
Killochries Fold farms 380 Ha of organic land. Full organic status for both Highland Cattle and land was achieved in 2003 entitling Killochries produced highlander beef to be branded with the prestigious Scottish Organic Producers Association (SOPA) label.
